Moving downtown the roster became broader, initially Carsten Schuchmann aka Meat and Miguel Ayala managed the daily sales, later Bernd Maus, Dorian Paic, Federico Molinari (Oslo), Arno Völker aka Einzelkind(with Miguel) and many more Djs were part of the team. Freebase is and always has been about good music (or what we consider that).
Today FREEBASE is not only a recordstore. Runing the independet label BELOW where artist like Ricardo Villalobos, Reboot, Markus Fix, Matt Brown & Alex Moments and may others released on, Freebase is a distributor for special releases. Freebase provides the channels for artists to release what they believe in and spread the music and words to the most importand channels of the electronic musice scene.

Working with Airbag Craftworks closely for years we had the great oportunity working together with Nike for setting up our sneaker section combinet with Airbag Apparel and Bags.

Having this great location placed in Frankfurt downtown we love to share this place with artists and give them the oportunity to present their work in our store.The interactivity between all the people involved in music and art and the fact that one of the leading universities of Art and Desgin- HFG OFFENBACH in Germany is placed just arround the corner in Offenbach made FREEBASE becoming a place where several artists presented their work in our store douring the last years.
