"We just express ourselves though electronic music". That's how Mr. Heinrichs and Mr. Hirtenfellner explain their motivation for making music. A pretty decent effort: these two guys, based in East Berlin, have had a remarkable rise as producers and DJs in the last few years. Sascha Hirtenfellner got his first introduction to music through his grandfather who was a successful opera singer. Lars Heinrichs also developed an early crush on music, falling in love with the huge speakers of his uncle's East German mobile disco. Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner crossed paths in 2003, after being part of the early techno movement in the nineties, where they had their first experiences in DJing, producing and organizing Techno parties. The musical chemistry clicked into place and they became fast friends, roommates, and in 2005, label bosses of their first label: Tonkonsum. Three releases later, in summer 2006, they had their first hit with "You Are I" on their second label - Supdub. Since then Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner have produced almost twenty releases and remixes on several hot labels. In 2007 they found a home base and a familiar crew at Highgrade Records, whose musical philosophy matches their own. They've made their name on Highgrade with two successful EPs and a digital release, all of which have left us craving for more! Heinrichs & Hirtenfellners music combines dry and carefully structured minimal funk with infinite influences that take them well beyond the pigeon-hole. Buzzing house grooves here, dubby basslines there, and in between cruising jazz samples or swirling oriental sounds. German music critics have credited them with a "fresh sound", which "combines the new Chicago with minimal abstraction". In the past few years Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner have played in clubs like Watergate, Arena Club, Bar25 and Panorama Bar. They have also rocked international clubbers in Amsterdam, Moskau, and Madrid. A glance at their booking schedule proves that they are one of Germanys most sought after new acts. With their debut album "Dark Orbit" on Highgrade (May 2009) Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner are entering a major new phase, simultaneously starting their new live show. About rene Bourgeois :
Hätte unsere geschätzte Erde eine Umlaufbahn und Neigung die den subjektiven Tag um einiges verlängert, wäre René Bourgeois einer der ersten um die zur Verfügung stehende Zeit sich zu nutze zu machen.

Der in Dresden geborene Musikästhet ist umtriebig wie kaum ein anderer und eines steht fest, seine Gene stammen nicht von diesem Sonnensystem. Schon als blutjunger Teenager lauschte er den Geheimnissen von 16Bit, Art of Noise, Off oder Yello nach. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt befand sich René bereits im Kosmos der Hauptstadt.

Der Umzug nach Chaos-City, wie viele die Hauptstadt zu nennen Wissen, war ausschlaggebend für seine kommende musikalische Entwicklung. Wäre da nicht seine einstigste Schwester im gediegenen Elternhaus, wäre er heute womöglich Tierpsychologe für verwahrloste Hunde mit pinkfarbenen Fellansätzen.

Doch es sollte anders kommen. Von seiner Schwester unterstützt, sammelte der Ostberliner seine Vorlieben auf Kassette und Schallplatte. Seiner Zeit waren diese beiden Arten Luxusgüter im grauen Sozialismus. So sammelte er akribisch Musik die seine Synapsen stimulierten und lauschte den kultivierten Klängen der Radiosender.

Mit seinem Schulfreund Daniel Steinberg, eröffneten beide ein Schulradio, wo die gesammelten Werke zum Einsatz kamen. Wen wundert es da, dass selbst Daniel Steinberg, auch bekannt als Harry Axt, eine Ruhmreiche DJ-Karriere in die Wiege gelegt wurde.

Als später die große Wiedervereinigung eingeläutet wurde, zog es René in die ersten Berliner Clubstätten. Schon kurze Zeit später, als der Kulturschock Techno ausgerufen wurde, fand auch er sich rasch hinter den Plattentellern wieder. In dieser Zeit lernte er neue Freunde schätzen.

Sascha Braemer-Hirtenfellner ist einer von diesen Kreativ-Produzenten die er Mitte der 90er als Freund kennen lernte. Erste gemeinsame Projekte wurden aus dem Boden gestampft, gemeinsame Musikproduktionen folgten schnell.

Leidenschaftlich verfolgte René Bourgeois seine Musik bis zum Jahre 2003, wo sich ein weiters Kapitel öffnen sollte. Weiter an der Tagesordnung standen Videoproduktionen und selbst als Kameramann erntete sein Geist große Anerkennung.

Ende 2008 landete er seinen bis dahin wohl größten Erfolg als Produzent. Seine Label-Familie heißt SUPDUB und sein Erfolgs-Titel trägt den Namen „4myRecordz“. Mit diesem Wurf kam sein großer internationaler Durchbruch auf der Showbühne, wo er selbst als DJ immer bestrebt ist mehr als 100 % zu geben und seine Leidenschaft und Dankbarkeit zum Ausdruck gibt.

Was heute hinter ihn liegt, sind mehr als 20 Jahre Fanatismus zur elektronischen Musik und ein Tagebuch mit unendlich vielen Kapiteln.
