It all kicked off on April the 8th in 2008 with a 60 minute radio show. Fast forward three and a half years and there you have it – the 100th episode of the Soul to Unite Radio Hour.
By starting the show we really didn’t know where are we going. But sometimes traveling is more important than reaching your destination. We’ve have such a blast putting together shows featuring the best in house music.
When we started out only a few of our friends knew about it. And for them it might have been difficult to understand, what is going on. Two guys in a regular flat in Tallinn, Estonia, trying to represent the music we love. Today we are so blessed to have listeners from all over the world. People from South Africa, UK, Japan, Italy ,USA, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Germany are getting in touch to let us know they are tuned in and loving the shows.
Reaching a world wide audience is something we only dreamt about.
In the 100th episode of the show we celebrate the reasons why we are doing the show in the first place – the love for house music. Kicking it off with a soulful vibe, we take you to the deeper side of house before reaching the tribal sounds of African rhythms and melodies. This is followed by soulful gems, right before playing a track from the history books. A song from 1980 titled “Take Your Time (Do It Right)” was released the same year SD and Cordis were born.
Enjoy the show and join our Facebook fan page if you haven’t done so already. And as always, share the show by tweeting about it and sharing it on your FB wall.
