With his old school kicks and snares still in our head from his debut at Nest back in October, it was inevitable that we got this talented individual to mix for our Podcast series.
For those of you who missed out let us introduce a rising young talent on the underground house scene. Julien Sandre is a French producer signed to labels such as Bla Bla records, DIYnamic and Monqiue Musique and all within his first year of producing.
It was the track ‘Satisfaction’ that was snapped up by DIYnamic’s top dog Solomon which first put Julien on the map back in April 2010.
Since then the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Luciano, David August and local boy Burnski will not leave the house without at least one of his records in there bag.
At Nest we love everything Julien is about, shaping old school sounds and synths with a wholly unique touch. Look out for a french compatriot in the months to come, there's no doubt he's one to watch for the future.
