The 2011 Afro Punk Festival in Brooklyn, NYC, http://www.afropunk.com/page/afropunk-festival-11, originally scheduled for Aug 27-28 was canceled due to Hurricane Irene. I had been looking forward to it ALL summer. Of course, I was super bummed, but when I'm disappointed, what do I do? Make a mix, of course;) This mix features the artists I most wanted to see perform at the festival: Joi, Cee-Lo, Santigold, Res, Toro y Moi, & Fishbone.
