after the previous "Was Ist Jazz?" show, “transglobal blues” is trying to cross all stylistic or geographical boundaries except one: superficiality. dedicated to the archaic and more mystic and introverted, melancholic sides of (mainly) groove music, heavily drawing on Folklore from all around the world (Latin, Brazil, Afro, Indian...) as well as Spiritual Jazz and any kind of trippy or simply beautiful groove, you will even be encountering ventures into some very psychedelic soundscapes by hearing 4 different records at once..
the show will furthermore expand beyond its mere reproductional function to a combination of DJing and live instruments/vocals, planned for the next future.
kakadu`s humble intention is merely to send the listener on a journey to his inner landscapes and yet feel connected to the very heart of the universal collective spirit – nothing more…
