DETAILS:
Most people are a bit stressed out by the failed expectations of social network sites as Myspace. But Calvin Harris as well as a number of other artists owes these networks their breakthrough. It was on exactly that network where a talent scout found a demo of "Acceptable in the 80ies" - a wonderful, naive pop song that Calvin Harris produced only by accident. It was his breakthrough in music biz but the harsh reality withholds his fine debut album from music lovers in Germany for more than one year. In an exclusive interview, Calvin Harris will tell Tim about his experience and present some of his recent productions as the collaboration with Dizzee Rascal and his remix for the The Ting Tings.
Later in the show, Motor will give a life sign. After their astonishing electroclash debut "Klunk" and its follow-up "Unhuman" they took a creative break. But it will end soon - and Brian Black from the band Motor tells us exclusively some news about them as well as he will introduce us to Motor's recent DJ mix.
Beside these two highlights the show contains lots of new tracks covering the range of techhouse to electrorock featuring tracks by Headman, Luetzenkirchen, Dusty Kid, Steve Rachmad, Paul Brtschitsch among others... Expect lots of music and some musical oddities from the recent past!
