Born and grown up in the documenta-City Kassel, Tobivan alias Tobias von Klopmann already in his young years discovered his affection for the electronic music. Artists like Scooter, Da Hool, Marusha, Westbam, Members of Mayday were his favorites and filled his music collection in the 90's.

He started working as a DJ when he was 16, inspired by a good friend, who was playing Hip Hop. Quickly his fascination in combining music was started and the first equipment was bought.
After a short Hip Hop period in the year 2000 the young DJ found his way back to the electronic sounds. Passing through Disco House and Vocal House he finally found his today's favorite styles Tech House and House.
Modern influences are for example Sébastien Léger, Format:B und Jay Lumen.

Tobivan already played in several locations in Germany, including the Lightplanke (Bremen) and the Glashaus Center (Worbis), and even in Portugal he rocked the decks.
