Since 1993 Niklas Worgt produces his own tracks under different names like "Frauds in White", "Sonstware", and "Persona Non Grata". When a platform for the different styles was needed, Mo's Ferry Prod. was born.
1997 was the year when the first demotapes were produced and the first gigs as live act were realized.
For 2001 a labelcompilation in cooperation with other artists, like f. e. "Digital Planet", was planned to be the only release for that year, but due to the success of the new CD and new contacts to artists and party organizers more productions were made possible.
The summer of 2001 was marked with DJ set recordings of artists and DJ's, such as DJ Kristin (Berlin) for Elite Rodersdorf. In September 2001 Mo's Ferry Productions GBR was founded by Niklas and Jan Langhammer, who has been involved in the production of different Mix-CDs. The first vinyl release on Mo's Ferry prod.-the "Tpz EP"- was out in stores by the end of 2001.
In 2003 model Eva Padberg, who has been doing some of the graphical work for previous releases since the middle of the 90's started to live out her musical creativity with the project Dapayk & Padberg.
Ever since then the musical orientation of the label is changing constantly. when the first tracks were mostly influenced by Techno elements the following productions are more and more working with grooving Tech House elements.
In 2003 "Goddess" was released in collaboration with the artists Matt John and Matthias Tanzmann who added their remixes to the sound of Dapayk & Padberg's first release. "Goddess" was followed by the "Think and Speak" vinyl in 2003 with a remix by Whighnomy Brothers (Freude am Tanzen, Musik Krause, Jena) and the label artists enliven deep acustics.
Now the Mo's Ferry artist pool increases more and more. and we are proud to have well known producer, like troy pierce and mossa, working with us on the development of our idea of electronic music. Show less
