Alleviated Records was established in 1985 and its' debut release was the now classic "Mystery of Love" by Loosefingers (later changed to Mr. Fingers). The Label released about eleven more singles and EP's before going into an inactive status in 1991.

Alleviated Records was established in 1985 and its' debut release was the now classic "Mystery of Love" by Loosefingers (later changed to Mr. Fingers). The Label released about eleven more singles and EP's before going into an inactive status in 1991.
A couple of the highlights of the Alleviated Records catalog are the now classic single "Shine" by Kriss Coleman (1990) and the now classic single "What About This Love?" by Mr. Fingers (1989). Also, it is not widely known, but the now classic single "Bring Down the Walls" by Robert Owens was originally released by Alleviated Records in 1986. Alleviated Records also has in its' catalog, the now "legendary" album "Another Side" by Fingers, Inc. (in Association with Musical Directions - London) that was originally released by Jack Trax Records (London) in 1988.
Alleviated Records is now being distributed by the Baltimore based label, Trackmode Recordings. Alleviated is proud to anounce new releases and hopes to re-release some favourites that many of you have asked for. With many club and chart favourites, the Alleviated label played a foundational role in the development of the Dance Music scene that we currently enjoy. There is a lot of history behind this label and we continue to aim for excellence.
