UrbanArtForms is an audio-visual event series based in Wiesen/ Austria with the aim to present urban breakbeat music on a high level with the best of national and international acts on the showcase.
Several local soundsystems are working together under the UAF brand such as reloadmusic.com, mixed-bizness and sensikru as well as Ill[F]usion & RedG providing the live visuals.
In early 2004 all of the above mentioned joined forces to present high quality breakbeat events on a regular basis. The first event with Aphrodite in Summer 2004 was a huge success with a packed venue on a during-the-week date on a hot and suny day.
Now it was clear that UAF is strongly demanded by the local scene and monthly events with the likes of raiden, baron, pendulum and adam f ,to name but a few, where put on.
"Our concept is to mix up nuskoolbreaks and drumandbass with the best djs nationwide and internationally to design events which are very unusual in this rather "country-like" area. Also we want to have some serious visual arts on our nights, we want people to not only remember the music but also the visual impression from our parties" - says meph13, dj, and manager of UAF.
