Kev Brown Hailing from Landover, MD, Kev Brown has ascended the ranks of the underground to solidify himself as one of hip-hop's most prolific and universally respected talents. While producing for a range of artists that include De La Soul, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Jewel, it wasn't until his remix work The Brown Album, the highlight of what became a billion homemade remixes of Jay-Z's The Black Album that Kev Brown captured the attention of the entire hip-hop community. Paying homage to the true school while honing his own jazz-infused sound, Kev Brown has garnished a reputation as the torch-bearer of the golden era. Heavily influenced by renowned beat-smiths such as Pete Rock, Jay Dee, and DJ Premier, he continues to receive worldwide acclaim for his distinctive brand of grimy soul. Oddisee Amir Mohamed (better known as Oddisee) is a Sudanese-American rapper and record producer based in Washington D.C. He is a part of the Low Budget collective, which also includes Kev Brown, and Roddy Rod of Maspyke. Oddisee got his break in 2002, after appearing on Jazzy Jeff's The Magnificent LP, as both a producer and a performer, on the track "Music Lounge". He followed this up by producing for a number of underground artists throughout 2003, and the majority of the songs on the Halftooth Records compilation, You Don't Know The Half, in 2004. He has also worked with the likes of Talib Kweli, Wordsworth, and Little Brother. In 2006, he produced a bonus CD of remixes for the deluxe edition of Wordsworth's 2004 album, Mirror Music. 2006 sees him release his mixtape "Foot In The Door" on Halftooth Records. And just recently Oddisee has finished another mixtape featuring collaborations from all over the globe. Kaimbr Alexander Green, born in Guantanamo Bay , Cuba, was a child of revolution by nature. His upbringing in the industrial city of Heights Town, New jersey combined with his revolutionary roots to produce one of the most original and versatile artists on the rise in the world of hip hop. Adopting the name Kaimbr, Al Green joined forces with the Low budget Crew in 2000, and quickly became a fore father of the patented Low budget grimy, soulful sound that has captivated fanbases from Maryland to Amsterdam . With rhymes reminisent of wu-tang and a swagger on par with the game's most successful emcees, kaimbr has developed his own brand of contemporary east coast hip hop. Kaimbr's first solo album, titled "Why Be Somebody Else", is scheduled for digital release on Rakwus records on October 3rd. The first single is titled "shotgun". Kaimbr's music is sure to be a shot heard round the world. links Kev Brown
