In 1987 he started DJing only with a cassette player and a rather old turntable. Nevertheless, he became a scratchin' DJ in great demand, showcasing his skills as a member of the "NoSolo" HipHop crew from 1990-93. Things changed, and the legendary Drum'n'Bass events at the "Toaster" club in Berlin as well as some early soundbits on the local radio in 1994 lead to love for Drum'n'Bass. His home studio was built over time and in 2000 Young Ax was ready to enter the Santorin camp.
