Subb_an [Ashique], has been heavily in to in electronic dance music for the past seven years. Born in 87' Ash has been producing for the last four years and has been mixing records since his early teens.
Buying a pair of old worn out decks at the age of twelve with a small amount of cash, Ash didn't have the slightest idea of what to do with them, but after gradually buying records and listening to dance music on the radio, he really started to grow a passion for music.
"Music has been my life since I was 13, I was never interested in sports or computer games as a kid, I had a single minded passion for music which still remains today. On my twelfth birthday I was given £100 which paid for my first pair of turntables."
After a few years and at the new age of 20, Ash is studying Sound & Multimedia at the University of Central England in Birmingham, and when not studying he spends as much of his available time making music and preparing live sets.
Over the past year he has had captured the interest from various different labels and has had great support from some of the leading names in the industry, with his productions being played by Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Sasha, Paul Woolford and Luciano to name a few.
In this time Ash has also played along side MR C, Josh Wink, Danny Howells, and Jamie Jones and having had a residency with 'Below' during this period, it has been a great way for Ash to perform and perfect his Live Sets. Show less
