of 9 which continued until the age of 18. At the age of 15, she started to attend the
legendary weekly night club events in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, called XLR8, from
1989-1992, and developed an interest in dance, DJ`ing, collecting records, and all of the
other aspects of electronic music and dance culture. She then became very involved in the
Northeast US rave scene, starting with a party at the famous Limelight Nightclub in NYC
and spanning from Washington, D.C. to Boston, Massachussets. In 1996, She began to DJ
around various clubs and house parties around the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas
playing Acid Techno, Electro and Experimental Downtempo. Eventually in 1998, Starrie
graduated school with a degree in Multimedia Art and moved to Central Virginia.
In 2003, she met Morphogenetic and moved to Washington, D.C. to study Interactive Design
at the Art Institute and joined Fundamental Bass Intelligence as co-partner and lead
designer. That same year, Starrie flew down to Brasil to play at the famous Ecosystem
Festival, a festival dedicated to helping fulfill the ideas and aspirations for a utopian
society of the great Buckminster Fuller.
Not only is Stjarna the original founder of FBI's "The Binary Mix Sessions", which
broadcasted out of The University of Virginia's WTJU, Breaks FM, and Global Funk Radio,
but she is also currently working with Morphogenetic on their duo project “Metatron”,
where they will be remixing a track by Kosmozo for their debut release on FBI due out
sometime in 2008. She also wrote and spoke the lyrics on the new Dark Vektor vs.
