SD has been in the Estonian club music scene for about 12 years now. After launching successful drum&bass website Clubarena.com and a few years later all-around club music site Stereo88.com, SD has been in-and-out of the scene. IN means that SD is still feeling the music and collecting it more than ever.
With the launch of Soul to Unite, SD has quickly become one of the most dominant figures in the Estonian house music radio scene. His previous radio experiences include Nõmme Raadio (damn that was weird!), Energy FM and most recently national-station Raadio 2 where SD is still introducing young dj’s every Saturday almost prime-time.
his love for house music is getting stronger and stronger, falling more deeply into the diverse sounds of the music. From soulful and uplifting to deep and afro. From peak time to latin house. A few house music styles you won’t find in his collection are electro and progressive house – just isn’t his understanding of house.
His most important influences include New York’s DJ Broadway, DJ Meri and P.Julm of Rulers of the Deep, Dave Storm of Ceremony Records, Enar “Rakett” Essenson of StereoÖÖ and Stereo88.com, MC J.O.C, Raul Saaremets of Raadio 2 and Mutant Disco.
As far as favorite house music people are concerned, there are almost too many to mention – Kenny Bobien, Arnold Jarvis, Richard Earnshaw, Louie Vega, Studio Apartment, Tortured Soul, Jasper Street Co, Roland Clark, Ralf Gum, Peven Everett and more. Show less
