Schieres, real name Ulli Bomans, is a man with hands in many projects, for sure with one good reason: trained by countless live shows, solo performances and several band projects likewise CRUDE SLOPE, WOLFSLEEVE, DOWN'T, GLADBECK CITY BOMBING, NAPOLI IS NOT NEPAL and probably most famous SHRUBBN!! he is providing the sophisticated raver with a unique audio experience and exceptional dance music. Less a booty shakin pleasure, but harshly hitting you towards the floor with Industrial-EBM influenced cruel Techno and heartless ambient atmospheres.
Within the last 15 years Schieres travelled from his birth place Landau to various places, from Kassel to Berlin to Marseille to Andalucia to Zürich and Hamburg, led by his instinct and his diverse projects.
The SHRUBBN!! thing could be easily named as one of the few constants in Schieres' life: founded in 1995 together with Marco Haas aka T.Raumschmiere, it continued to exist with several releases on early Shitkatapult and through contributions to some compilations over the years and came up again in 2007 with, what those boys know best: dirty-filthy Techno tunes, Low-Noize-Ambient and some hitting remixes for names as Apparat, Warren Suicide, Aux Raus, Dave Gahan and Mark Boombastik.
Still ongoing and already perceived during his early projects and Art studies Schieres' main qualities are found in excessive, intense and elevating live performances, solo or in collaboration with artists like Clara Interceptor, Eric Demay or Hendryk Martin. Show less
