Rim the new german House / Electro - producer and Disc Jockey started his project after a long preparation time with no excact "starting date" on the social Network www.Facebook.com (7.Oct.2012). After motivating his friends to join his Fanpage he expanded and created accounts on other huge networks like: Soundcloud, YouTube or Play.fm to increase the amount of listeners.
Growing Up with Rap:
He played his first instrument (the drum set) at the age of seven years. with a music teacher as his mother he grew up listening to a lot of different genres.
After loosing the contact to music and stopped playing the drum set he founded his first small label called "D.O.G. Records".. This was unofficial and just used to promote his previous artist name "CHPH". He produced Rap and Hip Hop in general and got his first contact to electronic music with producing some simple Hip Hop beats.
The Next Step:
Unfortunately "Hip Hop" was a big experience for him, but not the right thing! He moved on and learned himself to play guitar and piano. The next big step for him was a metal band, where he sang and wrote songs almost all written in minor scales, what helped him later in electronic music, too. While he was in the band he parallel discovered the job "disc jockey" for him and was very excited to learn all the basic stuff of a DJ.
Working Hard:
This was the first time he knew that this was the perfect match for him! He studied and analysed House and Electro Tracks, started to make his own music, added his personal touch and released it on his websites, to see what people think of it! He took every critic very serious and worked hard to improve his producing technique. He learned himself a lot through online Tutorials from big international artist like Hardwell, Avicii, DADA LIFE, Afrojack or Laidback Luke and finally became back the results he wanted so much! So people, if you got a heart for electronic music PUT YOUR HANDS UP FOR RIM!
