Rainer aka (Ray) aka (dusty dream boat), originally from Barcelona, spent his childhood in California. He started collecting and playing records in 2000 with interest in Techno, Electro, Rock, Disco...the roots which later influenced his first electronic productions back in 2006. In 2007 he moved to London to continue producing and playing. That's where he met Cesare Marchese aka Cesare vs Disorder, owner of Mean and Serialism record labels and began collaborating with him. 2009 saw Rainer rapidly conquer the London dance floors with his DJ sets and his first release on Serialism records "Neuralgia" firmly secured his place in the industry, receiving support from the likes of Seth Troxler, Cesare vs Disorder, Kate Simko and Ryan Crosson amongst others.
Over the past 2 years we have seen him play internationally in some of the world’s most known clubs including Fabric in London, Weekend and Watergate in Berlin. A recent move to Berlin has inspired him to work on new projects like his "El ser o el no ser EP", released in January 2011 on Luc Ringeisen's Vinylclub records with Pier Bucci on remix duty, which again received much support from the industry hottest djs and fans alike!
Exciting times are coming as Rainer is featured on Remake Musique vol.8 under both his monikers (Ray and Dusty Dreamboat) and his EP on Serialism, with an edit of Shaun Reeves & Tale of Us, is scheduled for April 2011.
