My interest in music began 15 years ago, inspired by the electronic trends at that time and by artist as Orbital, FSOL, Sven Vath, Dave Angel, Jeff Miles, Derrick Carter, Dj Sneak, Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Frankie Knuckles, Little Louie Vega, Todd Terry, Frankie Feliciano,Kings of Tomorrow, Mateo & Matos, Solar House and lots more.... All my leisure time was devoted to exploring and composing electronic music, downtempo, and a bit later i dedicated it to house music. The key role for this was played by my older friends and people I knew long time ago, who had shown me the first steps in some improvised home studios. Yet at that time were my first parts as a guest in some radioshows for popularizing the electronic music. Later I started to work in a shop for vinyls – one of the first here in Bulgaria. I began to mix divers kinds of music – from trip hop with oul full to deep and tech house. Enriching more and more my music culture, and also my collection of vinyls, I became bolder in mixing and producing my favourite kind of music. Working all these years, searching for the perfect sound and making different collaborations lead to the creation of the booking agency Adultempo – together with some friends and with the owner of club Lifehouse. The purpose of this agency was and still is to promote bulgarian artists and some of the best dj's on the world music stage till now, including names like Boy George, Little Louie Vega (MAW), Cevin Fisher, Ultra Nate, Yousef, Spiller, Eddie Amador, Johnny Fiasco, Grant Dell, Mastik Soul, Phil Weeks, Harold Heat, Bryan Jones, JT Donaldson & Lisa Shaw, Patrick Turner, Joey Youngman, Dizzy, Justin Long, Fred Everything, Asad Rizvi, Peace Division, Silicone Soul, Funkagenda, Jimpster, Omid 16B, 16bit Lolitas, Marcello Castelli, Stereonova, Thomas Gold, V-Sag, Shlomi Aber, D-Formation, Julian Poker, Christian Duran, Ismael Rivas, Wally Lopez, Tony Thomas, Saeed Younan, John Creamer, Stephane K, Martin Garcia, Chris Micali, Terry Lee Brown Jr., The Timewriter, Lexicon Avenue and many others. Soon I had two successful radioshows in two of the best..most popular bulgarian radiostations – Jazz FM and Radio Nova. Jazz in the House and Deep Connection were meant/had to present the different genres in house music, as well as some successful mixes from parties of different dj's. A few years later I was encouraged by my friends and together with some of them we created the label Adultempo Specialists. Its main idea is to present different bulgarian live bands, producers and dj's of the plentiful with styles electronic music on the world music stage. From the very beginning, with the first releases, our aim was to attract different foreign artists for a variety of collaborations of remixes and participations in various labels under divers pseudonyms. Some of the names, like Alexander Scott, Jackson Hole, KiNK, Mr.Moon, Sliced Funk, Static, QJ, very often find place in various charts of dj's like Josh Wink,Fred Everything, Massimo Da Costa, Giom, Kirby, etc Our monthly stays in top 100 of some of the best on-line digital stores are not an exception anymore. The label is working hard to prepare the next releases in the near future and they won't be unnoticed. Our aim is to find more and more various artists, bands and musicians, as well as interesting dj's and producers. A year later I was invited by a few native/bulgarian musicians to join the newly formed project Free Will Society, featuring various guest musicians. Today I am the dj, the drum machine and the sound engineer of the band. The predominant sounds are funky, jazzy, downtempo, etc. Shortly our band settled on the bulgarian stage and a bit later the first participations are already a thing. Currently we are working to finish our first video and the forthcoming album, expected by the end of 2009. In the near future I will participate in another project named Sound Solutions. The collaboration of Iasmin/keys/Mind Trips/ and QJ is already a success and our debut single is expected soon. Spending more and more time in the studio, working on different projects, we attract a growing number of new guest musicians. Focused on the Deep/Tech House sound, now we are preparing a live performance, including DJ, Keys, Vocal and percussions. Show less
