Peter Heuvelman was born in Gouda on February 18, 1983.
Peter was a real menace during his youth. He always went out and created trouble for his parents. When he discovered music he couldn’t help but max the volume every time. He became interested in computers and began composing music with FastTracker, he also teamed up with some other DJ’s in Rotterdam and made an couple of songs, nothing serious really.
He stumbled across a teacher who was managing a local radio station in his free time, because of his interest in music and his big mouth he ended up in the studio. Radio Vrolek was the name for this local radio station that covered a region close to Rotterdam. In this studio he experiences what it takes to be a radiojock. After hosting two radioshows; “het Muziekcafé” and “de Mannetjes” Peter quits. He was moving away and couldn’t travel to the studio anymore. A brief silence followed...
In the following period Peter used his talents for some voice-over projects like the demo and portal of Ikpraat.nl. He also had a drive inn show for a brief period. When he moved back to his birthplace Gouda he started at the local radiostation; Gouwestad. At Gouwestad he presented a dance program “Sinradio” on Wednesday night. He also helps out young talents with their ambitions on making their own show. In December 2009 Peter gets in touch with Radio Decibel, he sends a demo and gets to do a show every Thursday from 18:00 till 21:00.
In Oktober 2010 the crew decides to create a new station; PingFM. With a weekly mix from mastermixer Ben Liebrand and the one and only Grandmix to start of 2011 an amazing format was build! On PingFM Peter has his weekly show; Peter@Ping every Thursday from 18:00 till 21:00. Show less
