Music (apart from my kids, wife and family) has always been the most important thing to me. Especially electronic music and the variety of possibilities offered by synths, samplers and multitrackers have been in the center of my attention since the late 1980s.
Starting DJ-ing in 1992 I got my first bookings in 1993. At this time techno was my preferred style. Today almost 20 years later music has changed and there are a lot of new and interesting sub genres and it is quite difficult to make a clear differentiation. To me the most interesting genres are jackin house, deep house and funky house as these styles are very open for classic elements such as jazz, funk and soul.
• Here is a small selection of public appearances:
• Psycho Thrill, Cologne, Germany, 1996
• Pump it up live, Basle, Switzerland, 1997
• Technosity, Southampton, UK, 1995, 1996
• Madisons, Bournemouth, UK, 1995
• Imacollata Connezione, Salerno, Itlay, 1996
• Salle des Coffres, Mulhouse, France, 1995
I more or less retired from active DJ-ing at the end of the 1990s but still followed the evolution of house music with great interest. Today I occasionally play on small events where I am free to play what I want to. Thanks to the internet I have the opportunity to upload my sets and make them available to people who appreciate.
There were and there are a lot of excellent DJs around. Here is a list of DJ's I respect the most:
Colin Faver, Colin Dale, DJ Sneak, Kenny Larkin, Dave Angel, Trevor Rockcliffe Show less
