Oscarsix´s first contact with electronic music was 1993 at the Kunstwerk in Vienna. He realised very quickly, that he could have a really nice time in such an atmosphere. On different smaller events he got to know DJ Uez. Together they performed in various small locations in Vienna.
One day they decided to travel to Polish city called Krakow to organize partys there. The first one took place at “Krzysztofory”, a gallery in Krakow, togehther with the polish legendary garage dj MK Fever in spring 1994. After that partys followed in various locations in Krakow (Krzysztofory, Zwiazkowiec, Grocka 8, Zelazna, Underdiskox, etc ). In 1998 he got to know the Katowice based DJ Natasza and followed her to her hometown. There followed more partys in various clubs. All in all Oscar Six was playing in many different citys in Poland (Krakow, Katowice, Bielsko Biala, Mielno, Oswiecim, Zakopane, Warsaw, Lodz, ). In the year 1999 he decided to stop djing and to concentrate on his study, but he never lost the relationship to electronic music. At the end of 2002 he met Simonlebon. They founded international music movement called “Project East!”. With Project East! he again got in the mood for djing in Vienna and abroad. After the finish of Project East! Oscar founded PE! Music (www.pemusic.org) in September 2004. PE! Music has new profile. It isn`t only booking agency but it`s also label which started in 2005. Oscarsix with Natasza recorded currently two eps. First was “One Day” – the debut record which was released in February 2005. It contains “One Day`s” remixes made by DJ Freestyle, Bill Payer and Patrick Kong. “One Day” was being emphasized, for instance, by known Canadian producent & dj Tyler Stadius, even by British Paolo Mojo and by Tom Golden from Manchester`s Housegrown Music Collective. Besides the original version of “One Day”was being put on “Ra'mien” – the compilation (released in Soundlab Records) which is featured fresh, extravagant and fine Vienna`s and international producers of electronic music. The second ep called “Ulla-la” was released in April 2005. It`s`t such housey style such “One Day”. “Ulla-la” is more jazzy and broken wax. It`s a fruit of cooperation between PE! Music`s producers and the legendary icon of polish jazz – Ms Urszula Dudziak. It was molded on deep-jazzy house versus big beat and drum`n`bass musical`s shape. “Ulla-la” was released on limited 500 copies around the world. However, it will release in “massive” digital version soon. Polish weekly called Newsweek put in the one of april`s edition an article about PE! Music agency and “Ulla-la”. Moreover, Oscarsix with Natasza and with rest of PE! Music producers are going to prepare next, third ep. Show less
