Kaleb was playing pirate radio stations in the late 90’s, as the tribal wave broke over London. He was in the middle of it, going to famous Italian parties- Vertigo and Clandestino. Embracing the role of the shepherd leading a flock, he would say to his friends "listen to this tune", as he would come across something special in the music jungle.
Soon after, the explosion of the DC10 music and myth, set a new standard of sound for him.
To make records speak to each other is enough reason for Nic Morgan to never try to change to digital, though he is of course aware of the many advantages. Instead of reading through a list of track names, he likes the visual aspect of finding tracks in his box. “You cannot beat the analogue sound”- he states. Nic has always loved dance music, from jungle, drum & bass, garage and house to techno.
Nic knew Dan’s cousin and that’s how they met, somewhere in London, around 15 years ago.
Since becoming a team in 2003, Nic & Kaleb have built up a recognizable style on the London and Ibiza underground scene.
Their exciting sound of edgy tech house, blended with unique touch of melodic soul has already taken them to incredible locations from Fabric in London to Zoo Project in Ibiza and Cocoon Club in Frankfurt.
Having another pair of ears next to you is an obvious advantage. It helps raise the standard of performance. Travelling together and making the audience dance, makes them always excited and up for any challenge. And having fun is what Nic & Kaleb want the crowd to feel as strongly as they do themselves.
