In "Interzone", "proband" Bruckmayr constructs an associative text using fragments from Burroughs’s same-named collection of short stories and notes, opening the door to the unconscious: a surreal monologue held in the weirdest voices, to the point of mental and physical exhaustion. "Sound machinist" Aigner stimulates the dreamlike condition of his colleague by means of abstract digital sounds and organic rhythms.
