Coming along with the deep sound of of Cologne and the sun of Buenos Aires Matias Aguayo showed us in 2009, how a true vision in electronica can work the floor. Not only his truely soulful compositions, within he works mainly on his own voice, but also with his incredible performances between live and DJing he celebrates the new coming and the rebirth of dance music.
Born in Buenos Aires and raised in the vivid club culture of 90ies Cologne he developed over many years a unique style, which can be best described of powerful, sensual and intense disco experience. His incredible talent and love for music was of course discovered by Kompakt back in 2000, when he performed together with Dirk Leyers as CLOSER MUSIK, and build up by the label to what he is now: an artist, endlessly touring the world and the most important festival and club stages around the globe, producing new tracks in line, e.g. the new AyAyAy, a release to die for and spreading the forward vibe amongst the clubbers.
So far we couldn't find a name for what he is actually doing on stage, but no doubt: you shouldn't miss the musical experience extraordinaire. Vamos. Show less
