Marq started his trade in probably Ireland's best known Dance Club Sir Henry's in Cork City where he spent close to 8 years entertaining the Saturday night faithful and dj-ing with the biggest names in house music including the likes of Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, John Digweed, Christian Smith, Silicone Soul, Danny Howells, Mr C. and many more.
As well as Sir Henry's Marq has played in a number of Ireland's top clubs and he held a residency in U2's Dublin Club The Kitchen as part of Genius and has had guest dj appearances in clubs in New York and Boston.
In March 2011 Marq started a new weekly Dance Music Radio Show called 'Dance On Red' on Cork's Red FM which he co-hosts with Philip Bourke.
Also in 2011 Marq set up the label Vision Collective Recordings along with Mick Verma and Tim O'Malley. The label's releases have been very well received and have featured on a number of high profile radio shows on specialist stations including BBC Radio and Ministry Of Sound Radio.
As a producer Marq goes under the guise of QuestionmarQ and his style goes from Deep to Tech House. QuestionmarQ's tracks have been put out on various labels including Soma/Darkroom Dubs, SeedyR, Resopal Schalware ,Toto, Gotta Keep Faith, Manuscript and on Germany's 2600 Rec.
The dj's that have played his tracks cover the whole spectrum of house and electronic music and his tracks and remixes have been played by established names such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattenoe, Lewis Ferrier and Dr. Bob Jones to name but a few. Show less
