When he started playing out at clubs he played Minimal Techno and Tech House, occasionally Deep House. Marcus started shifting his focus mainly to Deep House in the late 90's. Marcus Mcgowan began producing his own track in 1995. He went to a Chicago studio (Dinovo's House of Sound) and recorded a full length House and Techno album when he was on Intelligent Music Records Label.
He has played at parties in Rochester NY, Binghamton, NY, Ithica, NY, Orlando, FL,.he has held residency DJ positions at Java's Coffee House (Rochester, NY) and The Alpha Bar (Orlando, FL) also. When he plays a DJ set, he mixes it up from Deep House to Tech house. Playing live, his performances range from Deep House to Techno. He likes to build it up and then bring it back down. Marcus loves messing with the crowd while keeping them enthralled.
Marcus's inspiration comes from so many things, but definitely listening to a DJ who composes a mix in such a unique way that it's like a musical painting that envelopes him.
