In the same year he became a member of a post-rock group, but after a while he left these sounds to focus his attention to the electronic music production. Thanks to the new softwares and hardwares Koolmorf Widesen's music production is connected with IDM, with fast rhythms and strong melodic synth sounds.
His music has been influenced by a lot of artists and different styles: from Karlheinz Stockhausen`s electroacoustic pieces to the 90s Warp IDM, from the Tangerine Dream`s krautrock to Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Mogwai post-rock. But also the noise-rock of Sonic Youth, the industrial of Einstürzende Neubauten, the guitar textures of Fennesz, etc
Recently, Koolmorf has played on different occasions and with many important artists.
His tracks were also used in March 2007 for a Contemporary Art Exibition (Eves-Street art) in Milan, Genoa and Venice.
At the beginning 2007 he published his first official album Atomization for ECG an indie label based in Rome.
At present he`s attending High Education College Cherubini in Florence to take a degree in composition and electronic music.
He`s also working on to carry out some dolby sorround happenings with some artists (Autobam, Metuo, Telematik Guru, Marvin) and he`s composing tracks for a new cd coming out for the label I_am sounds.
