When you grow up in the North of Quebec in a small town like Chicoutimi, nothing really leads you to embrace such a passion for syncopated rhythms and organic sounds. But Jimmy Savard realised pretty early how much his natural understanding of music could drive him to become one day one of the hidden secrets of the Canadian dj scene. Being quite off the spot geographically, far away from other continents and countries, Jimmy developed his talent in local bars and clubs and travelled several revolutions around the globe musically. Jimmy has discovered new sonic dimensions through internet and the best radioshows of the scene. With a strong sense for details and perfectionism, an impeccable feel of harmonies and combinations, Jimmy shaped up a very personal approach of the most cutting edge club music with a feeling for latin influences, house music and phusion soundscapes. It is only in 2003 that Jimmy took place on the digital map by hosting shows on German Radio 42 and on the site of Florida Citrona label. Many insiders and music lovers discovered his tight mixing skills and colourful selections which brought him respect and admiration of many listeners worldwide. Having taken place in the circle of the Metronomic Family since 2004, Jimmy presented monthly his round of global musical freshness in the Metronomic Show and collaborated also to the content selection of the Metronomic website for the last 2 years. Staying close from his heart family at Metronomic, he is today developing his own platform in order to communicate his personal vision and musical shares. Show less
