DJ Guy is Europe's leading booty turntablist, doing what Detroit Ghettotech dons such as DJ Godfather, DJ Assault and Disco D do but coming from London with his own take on the Detroit DJing style.
He is one half of the Non Stop DJs duo who came to the attention of booty fans across the globe in late 2003 with their infamous "All Cylinders" mix, featuring over 112 tracks in 75 minutes mixed live in NSD's trademark style, with DJ Guy scratching and juggling the booty-shaking records alongside DJ Brelson.
Non Stop DJs released their first 12", the Furious EP, in 2004 to great response, with airplay on the UK's BBC Radio 1, DJ support around the globe from the likes of DJ Godfather and DJ Rolando, heavy radio play in Detroit, and electro & techno heavyweight Dave Clarke placing the EP at the #1 spot in his electro chart.
November 2006 sees Non Stop DJs set to blow things up again with the release of their latest 12" - the Retarded EP, tracks from which have already been killing dancefloors worldwide.
The Detroit booty DJing that influenced DJ Guy's style mixes up party tracks from Miami bass to electro to techno to ghetto house to Baltimore breaks to hiphop, all scratched and blended together with the kind of turntable tricks that you only normally see in hiphop.
DJ Guy is one of a rare breed of DJs who can keep a dancefloor hot while making jaws drop with his trademark turntable skills.
"I'm playing vinyl, vinyl and vinyl. I've got nothing against serato and the like and might use them at some point but regular records are much more fun and look better - people like seeing the whole throwing records you're done with over your shoulder onto the floor thing." (dj guy) Show less
