Frankie interest for the electronic musics started in the mid 90’s and naturally came to get turntables, considering the mix as a great artistic excitement and the best way to express myself through a combination of technical tricks.
In parallel to this passion for the mix, Frankie gradually interests to create his personnal productions…From minimal, clicks & cuts, Freaky , tek house to techno & deep techno, he definitely loves to combine several (and sometimes opposite) music styles. He tries to give a particular character with unpredictable structures, ironical voices and strange sounds in the background to each track which give a lively and surprising atmosphere !
In late 2004, Frankie founded the eponymous label Frankie Records, convergence of eclectic electronic music (house, techno, minimal, booty, deep,…) and very various music influences (pop, rock, jazz, hip hop, trip hop,…).
Starting with super limited 2 white EPs without distribution a few rare copies were sent directly to the main influent djs / producers and due to the positive feedbacks the label found finally quickly a distribution contract in early 2005.
