Eleftherios Kousakis, aka Elef, was born 1988 in Essen, the heart of the Ruhrarea in Germany. He was always addicted to music. While his interest for music started in early years by listening to pop and rock, his parents were attracted to house and dance music. At the age of 12, Elef started developing an interest for electronic music and began his DJing career. Three years later, he started producing house music himself. Today, Elef is one of the new faces of house music on the global scene.
