Dirk and Marco Duderstadt began their careers in 1994 by djing at various local events. In 1998 they had a highly successful start in the music industry with the founding of the project Fragma. Fragma entered top positions in sales charts worldwide (No. 1 UK, Australia, Scandinavia). Based on this unbelievable and surprising success, they had the chance to DJ at events in Australia, North America, Panama, South Africa and all over Europe. So they played at gorgeous clubs like "Glow" in Washington and "Room At The Top" Bathgate (UK) alongside Armin van Buuren, Johan Gielen, George Acosta, Steve Helstrip etc.
Discovering their personal passion for the music, they decided to produce a new project under their real surnames "Duderstadt". After they had completed some remixes for Fragma, Blank and Jones, Monoculture and Mega lo'Mania, they released a track called "Mahananda" on Afterglow Records, which got plays by every influential DJ worldwide (Tune of the week on ASOT, plays by Corsten, Darren Tate, Woody van Eyden etc ).
2006 it was topped by the follow up "Muhanjala", which has risen up to the second place of the Dutch Dance Charts. Seven plays on Paul van Dyk's radio show, sold out vinyl after three weeks and loads of remix requests (Alex M.o.r.p.h., M.o.r.p.h. & van Eyden, Duende, Primate C etc.) confirm the quality of their tracks.
In 2007 they released "Smile" together with UK singer Anita Kelsey, which got countless plays by all top DJs and was voted for "Future Favorite" on ASOT and web vote winner on Above & Beyonds TATW show twice. It also entered several important charts and was compiled on many major compilations. Currently they are working on their first artist album, which we will see in light in winter 2007.
Next to producing, their DJ career is also on the run. They attended at "The Love From Above 2007" hosted by Vandit Records playing alongside Paul van Dyk, Carl Cox, and Alex M.o.r.p.h.. At Nature One '07 they played on the Gatecrasher Floor together with Kyau & Albert, Ronski Speed, Menno De Jong, Woody van Eyden and many more. Not to forget the Loveparade, where they were spinning on the Heavensgate/Fridaydome truck, and the official Popkomm Night with Paul van Dyk, Felix Da Housecat, Giuseppe Ottaviani and Duderstadt. If this is not enough, check their monthly radio show "Electronic Eavesdropping" on 7 radio stations.
Last but not least the jury of Germanys "DJ Meeting" has chosen the Duderstadt website for the best national DJ website in 2007. Show less
