I was lucky to be a young fella during the Golden Age Of Hip-Hop (the late '80s, '90s) with some of the best rappers and djs releasing classic after classic.

I started diggin' in back alley record shops all over Dublin and became a fiend for vinyl.
Around this time, I was listening to a pirate station called Jazz 89.8FM which played all sorts of music. I made a mix out of my growing collection and landed myself a weekly slot. I was over the moon and had full control over everything I played. That continued for 6 glorious years, which included playing Jazz FM club nights and the Cork Jazz Festival.
Since then I've made plenty of mixes and got into more upbeat stuff, remixes and mashups.
Two years ago, I moved to Vancouver.
where I joined CITR 101.9FMand landed a show which I called Bootlegs & B-Sides. Here, I get to play the cream of the crop of mash-ups, remixes, cover versions, dupbstep, house, hip-hop, bootlegs and other hidden gems.
The show has just received a nomination from the Canadian Stylus Awards, for one of the radio shows of the year 2012.
