Enrique Cortazar is Unscene Records co-founder, broadcaster, and front the man/ promoter for Digital Beat Radio. He is one of the hardest working dj/producer/promoter and label owners in the Texas scene. His ability to spot extraordinary talent has led him to build a strong collective of artists he is proud to call his family.
As a Dj he has shared decks at his infamous ToKen Sessions night with artists such as Tanner Ross, Lazaro Casanova, INXEC, DVS1, Mikael Satvostrand, Butane, and Miss Jools, just to mention a few. He constantly advocates quality in every project he partakes, and his dj sets reflect this persistence. Also, he has held a weekly radio show on digitalbeatradio.com for 2 years in which he showcases some of the best house and techno tracks from around the world as well as monthly guest mixes. Some of the guests he has hosted are of the likes of Lazaro Casanova, Inxec and Tanner Ross.
In 2010 he joined forces with the very talented dj/ producer Edgar Malvido to form Unscene Records. As one of the label heads, Enrique Cortazar has focused not only on discovering fresh talent, but also on cultivating and developing the Unscene Records roster, He is constantly pushing his artists to take thing to the next level. His persistence in cultivating and creating a community has set his posy aside from the mainstream scene Texas has to offer. With a focus in forward thinking sounds with a unique taste of beats and synths, Enrique is working on turning Unscene Records and its artists into one of the most well respected collectives to come out of Texas.
