Dan Reaves was born in 1978 in Zehdenick, a little town on the outskirts of Berlin. Inspired by countless visits to clubs and his obvious fascination of electronic music he bought his first vinyls and his first own equipment in order to learn the "technical" expertise to become a DJ.
Only six months later Dan gained his first experience at private parties. Midsummer 2001 he then had his first public gig in a DiscoClub in Gransee, Brandenburg. Shortly after that in November that was followed by the first Berlin event Trancesound. Dan made a contact at this event that gave him the opportunity to present his bid at the Berlin monthly party serial Players Delight for several months.
These events frequently attracted hundreds of party guests. Today Dan has really made it - to perform at some of the finest established events, alongside DJs like Paul van Dyk, Westbam, Sasha, Blank & Jones, Moguai, Misja Helsloot, Sven Vaeth, Thrillseekers, Rank 1, Above and Beyond, Kyau vs. Albert or Ronski Speed.
He is truly enchanting his audiences at Nature One(Center Stage), Airbeat One, Loveparade Berlin, Lovebase, Sputnik Turntabledays, Grooveproductions Austria, Paradisecity Vienna as well as club gigs in Germany and abroad that now form part of his booking list and repertoire.
Dan is also well advancing his aspirations as a producer after numerous intensive studio visits. Already last year he managed to get his first production under way inclusion on the Schallpark Trance Galaxy compilation - that formed a cooperation with Marcus Decay.
His track is accompanied by various artists like Armin van Buuren, Tiesto,NU NRG or Rank 1.
And there is something in the pipeline for the future.
Regular workshops with Eric Lynch, Niels von Ahorn, About Blank or DJ Observer in Vienna have lead to tracks and remixes that have woken the interest of several labels. Thus we hope to shortly introduce the first vinyl single.
