The combination of soulful chords, state of the art drums and freaky basslines is what the Busy People sound is all about. It´s the mixture that really defines their sound. Now just add some good songwriting and you get an idea. It´s like the old meets the new, retro finds the future. People who think in genres, would file Busy People tracks under broken beats or future soul. But the up-and-coming artists have also hiphop infused tracks, complex jazz productions and other styles up their sleeves.
