Three Austrians are cap- turing the charts, festivals and dancefloors of this world with their unique mixture of sound. Their tracks are played in DJ-sets of international stars like Groove Armada, The Crystal Method or Kissy Sell Out: the A.G.Trio. Since 2009 a surge of releases and remixes of the „dynamic trio“ arose. Top rankings in charts, a lot of radio airplay and critics acclamation followed soon. Their shows and solo-performances are heavily demanded for clubs and festivals in and outside of Europe.
The three musicans originally started with solo projects. With a spontanious and improvised group live act in Novi Sad/ Republic of Serbia they entered a stage together for the first time. After experimenting with improvisation and pop- elements for some time a serious studio act arose - while still keeping the energy of a live set. Lots of concerts and invitations to Mexico (three times!), to Belgrades Refact festival and Berlin followed before they were even thinking about getting their first signing. With the Austrian label Etage Noir Special and the German label Freaks Like Us! the A.G.Trio found two platforms for their releases. The EP ́s „Things You Wanna Play“ and „Replay“ earned top rankings in the U.S. and Canadian dance-charts as well as on sales-platforms like iTunes. Their tracks were licensed for various compilations. Loads of remix requests from musicans and labels all over Europe prolongue the working day of the trio to the late night quite often .
Although all three musicians are responsible for the music in equal parts, there is some segregation of duties in studio work. But the combination of this work and these three different characters joined to one single result produces the tight and harmonious music which fans and press simply love. Show less
