By the age of 10 he started playing classical piano, in 1993 he started djing, production followed in 1997 and well...thats more or less it. A paradise bird if it comes to musical styles and ideas, living his dream with loads of projects over the past 15 years. 1997 he co-founded the „Waxolutionists“, Austrias #1 export if it comes to avantgardistic and electronic hiphop, with whom he released numerous albums and singles, working with artiists such as Blu, Rich Medina, Dave Ghetto, Hezekiah, Frank Nitty, DJ Vadim, Lyric L, Schoolz Of Thought, Ty and many more. In 2002 he began producing the broken beat outfit "Circus", together with the Vienna based duo "Twintowas". Besides he played keys & turntables for the jazz combo "Forms Of Plasticity" and still is - for the session band "60 Minits Of Funk".
Regarding nightlife, BNCKD has never been a quitter. Always on the run and up for some movement, the consequence was an own club night. From 2005 til 2006 he was part of Proceed?, a semi drum&bass / hiphop club night going down at Flex. In 2007 followed the broken beat based concept "Detroit Jazzin" , in 2008 the techno club concept Pssst!, and 2009 finally gave birth to the famous „20 Years“ series at The LOFT, as well as the „RUN VIE“ festival, improving the growing scene of futuristic hiphop and its derivatives. Not to forget - the „Prater Unser“ festival, voted one of Europe´s best underground festivals by the readership of De:Bug.
However, the final strike happened September 2009, when the by now internationally highly acclaimed "Praterei" clubnight opened it´s doors for the first time. Located at one of Vienna´s finest venues, the „Pratersauna“, the monthly party quickly evolved into an internationally known and respected happening, finally winding up in a recordlabel, that as well conquered recordstores, dj bags and house charts within a blink. With Praterei mates Kido Soon and willFling he´s hosting the weekly radio show „313“, aired on the viennese radiostation Superfly.fm 98,3. Together with Danilo Plessow alias Motor City Drum Ensemble he teams up to deliver HUNDRED20, presenting an outfit of fully analogue Chicago crumbled house.
